Voice-Over

Bronwen’s performance, writing and business skills suit her voice-over work perfectly, enabling her to offer writing and technical support where required. Her professional recording history includes creating meditation CDs for Sounds True in the USA, while working freelance as a voice over artist for online agencies. Today she writes and records promos for Radio Blue Mountains on a weekly basis.

Performance

After finishing an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (1984/85), Bronwen worked in Brisbane as a professional actress. There she performed shows for QPAT and La Boite, worked as a creative writer and performer in acapella/street theatre troupes, as a singer and actor at Expo ’88, and co-founded and wrote for Piccolo Productions (a children’s theatre company) as well as touring children’s theatre with Tic Tac Theatre Company and Queensland Theatre Company.

Language, Writing and Teaching

Bronwen lived in Holland for 7 years and completed Dutch language training to the Mavo (High School) level. In the UK, Bronwen studied Teaching English as a Foreign Language through Cambridge University. After making India her home for two years, Bronwen returned to Australia where fortune and hard work gifted her a LitLink Fellowship from Varuna, the Australian national writer’s retreat, and where she now annually returns to work on writing projects.

Business and Technology 

Bronwen’s other skills include developing and managing a successful international business and its website since 1999, during which time she completed a Certificate IV in Business Management and a Certificate IV in Teacher Training and Assessment. Bronwen is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Creative Writing with Griffith University.

Bronwen’s Recording Equipment

To create and edit recordings for clients, Bronwen works with a Sennheiser MK4 microphone, Scarlett interface and uses either Pro Tools and Cubase as a DAW along with Adobe Audition in her soundproof DEMVOX ECO200 studio from her beautiful home in the Blue Mountains of Australia.
