There will always be noises in your life. If you are in the city it is the police cars or traffic, if you are
in the country it can be the birds. If you are inside at home it can be children playing or the washing
machine doing its job. Therefore the best way to deal with noise is to accept that it exists and not to
fight it. Naturally you should try to meditate at a time that will not be too noisy but if this is not
possible – know that there will always be noise in life, that is natural, the trick is to focus not on the
noise but on your practice.
